Education and Roles
I am currently an educational supervisor, a role which I am thouroughly enjoying and feel has enhanced my development. I have been in this role since 2013. I have also been involved in the design of the DFT course during this time in relation to work based assessments.
I have a keen interest in teaching had led to me successfully obtaining the fellow of the higher education academy (FHEA) and to becoming an educational supervisor. I have also completed a PG Cert in teaching and learning from Edge Hill University to enhance my effectiveness in this role.
Additionally, I have completed the Diploma in post graduate dental studies from the university of Bristol. I also am a Fellow of the College of General Dentistry and recently was awarded a distinction in Post graduate Diploma in Dental implantology through the Cambridge association of dental implantology following a 2-year assessed course including submission of completed case studies.
I have been a Practice owner in 2 mixed NHS/Private practices since 2013 and was awarded the Fellow of the College of General Dentistry in 2023. I am currently in my second year of the LLM in Medical Law and Ethics from Liverpool John Moores university. I have 18 years’ experience in general dental practice working both in the NHS and Private fields
